On the overall a decent collection of articles. The title is misleading - the articles are not exclusively about male (on male) rap. The overarching theme seems to be sexual assault in institutional settings, with the exception of a few articles. As the publication year indicates, this book is outdated. However, given the slow move in the study of rape within institutions or male on male rape, the boom doesn't suffer a much as it would have had it been on a different topic.
